It uses low-energy Bluetooth technology, similar to what is found in wireless headphones, fitness trackers, and other sleep devices used by millions of people worldwide. The signal operates at very low power levels and stays well within international safety guidelines.

For comparison, Bluetooth devices emit significantly less radiation than smartphones used for calls or Wi-Fi routers in the same room.

There is currently no scientific evidence showing harm from low-energy Bluetooth devices when used during sleep. Elysian Band is built to be worn comfortably and safely throughout the night.

For best comfort, we recommend listening at a moderate volume. Other than that, the device is safe for nightly use.

Can I sleep on my side? Will the speakers press against my ears?

Yes. Elysian Band is specifically designed for side sleepers. The ultra-thin speakers (approximately 0.3–0.5 cm thick) are barely noticeable during sleep. The soft, elastic fabric distributes pressure evenly, allowing most users to sleep comfortably on their side throughout the night without discomfort.

How do I wash the headband?

The headband is fully washable. Simply remove the electronic module with the speakers and battery before washing. The fabric can be hand-washed or machine-washed in cold water on a gentle cycle. Air dry only. The electronic module and speakers must not get wet.

How long does the battery last? Is it enough for the whole night?

A full charge provides approximately 10–14 hours of continuous playback. This is more than enough for a full night’s sleep (7–9 hours) with extra reserve. Full charging takes about 1–2 hours via USB-C.

Will it fit a large or very small head? Will it slip during sleep?

Thanks to its highly elastic fabric, the headband fits head circumferences from approximately 52 to 62 cm, covering the standard adult range. On larger heads it may feel slightly snug, and on smaller heads slightly looser, but in about 95% of cases it fits securely and stays in place throughout the night.
